Choral Arts of Southern New Jersey
The founding of this choir represents a need to provide quality choral music to a variety of venues in the 8 southern counties of New Jersey. This prestigious auditioned choir will meet weekly. Preparation will be centered on the best choral music with a goal of bringing a love of this art to the audiences of South Jersey. A special emphasis will be on presenting works with instrumental groups allowing some of the premier ensembles in our area the chance to program works with choir. Choir members need to demonstrate a love of singing and a commitment to the choral art. Under the direction of Jack Hill, this choir will perform at the highest standard.
Membership is open to any singer 18 years of age and above. If interested, you will need to schedule an audition with our director, Jack Hill. Be prepared to sing a portion of a prepared solo that you will bring with you. In addition our director will vocalize you. There is no sight-singing requirement at the audition. It is our wish that this choir will soon hold the standard of fine choral music in the region. We welcome you to become a part of the beginning of what promises to be an exciting endeavor.
